Invitation to the Living God

You might share my opinion that the feeling of unrest and instability in us points to great thirst for the true knowledge of the “The Living God”. David said, “My soul thirsts for God, for the living God” (Psalm 42:2, NKJV) and “With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God” (Psalm 84:2, NLT).

Moreover, much of the troubles in the world and the struggle, between not only the different religions but also the denominations in the same religion, are because the crisis of the religious conflict. Instead of being promoting peace and love, religion is used for discrimination, violence, murder and destruction by those who have enthusiasm for God, but it is misdirected zeal (Roman 10:2, NLT). I wonder with Malachi the prophet, “Are we not all children of the same Father? Are we not all created by the same God? Then why do we betray each other, violating the covenant of our ancestors?” (Malachi 2:10, NLT).

The crisis endeavored by the individuals and peoples is that of the lack of the true knowledge of “The Living God”. He is “who made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them” (Acts 14:15), “the Lord of heaven and earth” (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21) and “He is the living God, and he will endure forever. His kingdom will never be destroyed, and his rule will never end” (Daniel 6:26).

I published these posts that “God may be all in all” (1 Corinthians 15:28), “we may be one” (John 17:21) and “there will be one flock and one shepherd” (John 10:16), as the Lord Jesus said.
