Enthronement on Earth as it is on Heaven

Certainly, I was not in just the Cathedral in Cairo, Sunday 18th November 2012 . I have been carried away beyond the boundaries of time and place. Seeing HE Metropolitan Pakhomius crowning and enthroning HH Pope Tawadrous II, who was considered as his son, moved me deeply.

I kept wondering, “Oh my God, What am I seeing? Is not this like the vision of Daniel?” He said, “Behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him. Then to Him [the Son of Man] was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed” (Daniel 7:13-14).

All my inner being has been grasped to the crowning and enthronement of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and the eternal Logos, after His ascension to heaven. I heard a deacon reading from the Epistle of St Paul to the Hebrews, “We have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God” (Hebrews 4:14) ? Then, I heard a voice of a priest behind me commenting, “The Father is Crowning His Son!”

In my mind, things have been mingled together. Yes indeed, heaven is celebrating the crowning and enthronement the Son of God as an eternal feast. Today, the likeness of this feast in heaven has been manifested and become visible in the crowning and enthronement’s celebration of HH Pope Tawadrous II.

Your Holiness Pope Tawadrous II, Your Eminence Metropolitan Pakhomious and all the honored celebrants of Today’s feast: Thank you for conveying to the whole world likeness of this heavenly feast.

Congratulation to HH Pope Tawadrous II and to all the members of the body of Christ!

Glory and honor are to you, O our Almighty God, the maker of all good things!
